Have I ever...

I am supposed to be sorting out my new 'studio' (aka. tiny little room in new house), but the floor is covered in bits and I am totally over it - so thought I would have a bit of fun instead!

Here goes...

*Yes answers are in bold.

1. Started your own blog – Yes!

2. Slept under the stars – thankfully, yes.


3. Played in a band and in orchestras and string quartets.

4. Visited HawaiiYes.

5. Watched a meteor shower

6. Given more than you can afford to charity - Not more than I could afford, but I certainly dig deep to help when I can.

7. Been to Disneyland.


8. Climbed a mountain – Yes, too many to list, Mt Ngauruhoe, Mt Tongariro, Mt Ruapehu, Rangitoto to name a few... 
 

9. Held a
praying mantis – yes - I love them!

10. Sang a solo.

11. Bungee jumped.

12. Visited ParisA few times - I lived in France for a year (in Cognac) in my early twenties.

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea - Yes - scary and intoxicating!
 

14. Taught yourself an art from scratchquite a few actually... !

15. Adopted a child

16. Had food poisoning
- ah, yes unfortunately!

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty - I have been to Liberty Island and stood at the base, but could not go up inside the statue itself.

18. Grown your own vegetables
- yes, we eat them every night!

19. Seen the Mona Lisa in Franceyes.

20. Slept on an overnight train
- yes, again in France.

21. Had a pillow fight – who hasn’t?


22. Hitch hiked - yes, through Turkey, France, UK, Greece, NZ... but would not do it now!

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill

- yes.

26. Gone skinny dipping
- a-hem...


27. Run a Marathon - not a marathon..., but did the Oxfam Trailwalk in Sydney 2001 (100km through a grueling Sydney bush track!)

29. Seen a total eclipse
- yes.

30. Watched a sunrise or sunset – Many of both!


31. Hit a home run

32. Been on a cruise

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person

34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors -
Yes - my Dad is from Chester, and ancestors date back to Bramhall Hall so made the trek when in the UK!

36. Taught yourself a new language - French whilst I lived in France

37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied - hmmm, do you ever?

38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person

39. Gone rock climbing – yes, on a school trip

40. Seen Michelangelo's David

45. Walked on a beach by moonlight – yes... more than once.
 

46. Been transported in an ambulance - yes, car accident when I was 18... no, I wasn't the driver!

50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Parisnot to the top, but I’ve been under it.

Gone scuba diving or snorkeling - Yes, when at the Great Barrier Reef whilst staying in Airlie Beach, Australia.

53. Played in the mud – Yes, quiet recently even as my 2 year old LOVES mud!

56. Visited the Great Wall of China. 

57. Started a business – Yes, a Graphic Design studio

63. Got flowers for no reason – Yes, lovely.

64. Donated blood, platelets or plasmaNo due to mad cow disease... no I don't have it, but was in the UK at the wrong time...

69. Saved a favorite childhood toy – yes - an old growly bear... a HUGE pink panther, Fisher Price dolls house/people/furniture, dolls... in fact too many to list!

71. Eaten Caviar - Yes, I used to be a chef.

72. Pieced a quilt - roughly...

73. Stood in Times Square - Yes, at Christmas time in the snow - so cool!

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in Londonyes.

77. Broken a bonenothing big, but a few fingers and toes if they count?. 

78. Been on a speeding motorcycle

79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person

82. Bought a brand new car - once, what a mistake, they devalue as soon as you drive them out of the yard, and then my mother in law wrote it off within a three weeks of my buying it!

83. Walked in Jerusalem

87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating

88. Had chickenpox – as a kid

89. Saved someone’s life 

90. Sat on a jury 

91. Met someone famous – Yes. Most noteable was Eric Estrada when I was at Telethon as a kid and I was a massive 'CHiPs' fan!!

92. Joined a book club 

93. Lost a loved one – yes.

94. Had a baby - Yes, two gorgeous girls (one emergency c-section, one natural)!

95. Seen the Alamo in person

96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake 

97. Been involved in a law suit  

98. Owned a cell phoneuh, yes quite a few actually, my latest went through the washing machine last week! 

99. Been stung by a bee – yes, but I am allergic to bees, so try to stay clear of them now! 

100. Read an entire book in one day - yes, but now that I am a Mum it seems a distant memory!
